I have the same problem Jeff has.
Fatal DB Error
Message: "The database is already in use. You have another HO running or the database is still closing, wait and try again."
Even restarting windows the error presist.
I am using Java 1.6.0_10. I've already deleted temporary java files from java control panel.
Only way to use it again is reinstalling, but if close the application the error happens again. |

Fix what? If you destroyed your database, it's destoyed for all versions.

PS.: the last 7 releases (since HO 1.138) are still available for download if you follow the "Download" link. It link speaks of version 1.422 only, but you'll also find older releases there.
BUT: i'm quite sure, that won't help in your case. You should use HO 1.422, because older releases contain bugs, that are now fixed. |

If I was a new player, I just have to download the 1.422 version, correct?
So, even that I've deleted the old version, why apperars "fatal error" when searching the database, a new player don't have any data when startup for the first time, i'm wrong?
I suppose that even if I deleted files that should not be deleted, I do not have chances to use anymore the hattrick organizer, is that true?
I've read that this problem appeared with more players, so I still believe that there will be a solution, which personally I can not find, unfortunately ...

| Personally, I don't like the new graphical "star*5" feature, as normal and 5* stars are too similar, and before it was easier to compare the performance of a player in different matches. |

I second the above. If anything, make the "5-star" entirely green, so that it was distinguishable. Also, IMO the 10-star is not needed.

What the f...?? If I close HO and want to reopen it, this message appears. It does not matter if I shut down my computer and restart it. The message appears all the time. Either it is Windows Vista's fault or HO's!! Please let me know what to do about it..

"Please check, if you have matches with missing highlights/report on the "matches" page of HO. If so - select this match and choose klick the button with the 2 arrows in the lower left part there. The tooltip of this button is "download match again". If you then got the missing data, you'll have to choose "File -> Calculate Subskills" from the menu - now your training should be there."
Did not work for me but some ppl report that did. I really dont have highlights/report on the "matches" page of HO.
I hope it helps, if you have some important info that can help me, that it would be nice :-)

you said you were going to release HO 1.423 on Saturday and it's already monday and i didn't see nothing!!!! I don't know if my problem is going to be solved... which is:
When I install HO! it asks me the language and i choose english... then it appears in Polac or else... i don't understand it... can you tell me if the problem is going to be solved in the new release!!! and can you tell what to do if the new release doesn't come out... thanks for listening... or better... reading!! |

MM_20: HO! 1.423 is available since yesterday, just follow the normal download link, even if it still says the old version number.
The problem you describe is new to me - please try to follow this installation guide: http://plugins.hattrickorganizer.net/doc/download.html
I advice you to use the Installer-exe if your using Windows. This way you're sure to install all necessary files. |

Thank you for new release, skill recalculation now works fine !
Unfortunately, even after desinstallation/reinstallation program, it seems there is a little problem with the "training experience" tab when importing hrf files : season dates are not correct and a lot of intensity/endurance values are set to "-1".
Am I the only one to have this problem ?

Hugues, Moe: sorry guys, that was my fault. I fixed the one bug, but added another. Maybe less HO programming nightshifts would have been better. But the good news is: i just fixed also this problem. So please don't do anything - another HO release will fix this problem! But please understand, that we need more testing time now, to prevent another of such mistakes.

Hi, I still can't view training update (for players) since 2 week ago. I install both versions (1422 and 1423) and nothing.
He normaly do everthing except notes for players who I trained. How to fix that?

Please go to Sprache subdirectory and delete all the language files that you don't find useful.
If you leave languages.xml, languages.properties (which seem to be mandatory) and for example English.properties your HO will have no choice but to run in English.
Shortly speaking - fiddling in Sprache subdirectory will lessen your choice list and allow you to use a more friendly language :) |

If you are usign windows Vista or Windows 7.
Go to the HO folder, right click, then properties.
Go to Security TAB and then edit permission for the CREATOR OWNER user, and asign full control |
